Crops
How to apply Fertilizer (Per Acre)
Paddy, maize, finger millet like cereal crops
Paddy: It is recommended to apply 50-75 kg per acre within 7-10 days after planting or sowing & 25-50 kg per acre between 20-28 days after planting or sowing.
Maize, finger millet: It is recommended to apply 25-50 kg as basal dressing & 50-75 kg per acre after 4-5 weeks of seedling emergence.
Mung beans, soybeans like legumes & sesame like oil crops
It is recommended to apply 30-35 kg as basal dressing & 30-50 kg per acre after 4 weeks of germination (at the time of flowering).
Crops of the Cucurbitaceae family such as Kekiri, cucumber, bitter gourd, pumpkin, snake guard, luffa & water melon
It is recommended to apply 50-75 kg of fertilizer per acre as basal dressing. It is recommended to apply 60-75 kg per acre after 4 and 8 weeks after the seedling emergence.
Crops of the Solanaceae family such as chili, tomato & eggplants
It is recommended to apply 35-50 kg per acre as basal dressing before planting. It is recommended to apply 25-35 kg per acre in 2 weeks after planting. It is recommended to apply 50-75 kg of fertilizer per acre at 4, 8, 12 and 18 weeks after planting.
Radish, carrots, beetroot, cabbage, leeks like crops
Radish: It is recommended to apply 35-55 kg per acre 2 days before seeding & 3 weeks after sowing. Carrots, Beetroot, Cabbage, Leeks: It is recommended to apply 35-50 kg per acre as basal dressing, Then, after 3, 6, 8 & 9 weeks after emergence of seedlings, It is recommended to apply 50-75 kg per acre.
Fruit crops such as banana, papaya, passion fruit, pineapples
It is recommended to apply 50-100 kg per acre as basal dressing before planting. It is recommended to apply 100-120 kg per acre once in 2 months after planting. It is recommended to apply 120-150 kg per acre once in 6 months after planting.
Tea, coconut, rubber
Tea: It is recommended to apply 65-75 kg per acre once in 4 months in a year.
Coconut, Rubber: It is recommended to apply 65-75 kg per acre once in 6 months in a year.
Considered:
Farmer’s bio compost or organic compost can be added to the soil before planting or sowing in order to reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers added to the soil. Farmer’s bio compost can be mixed with Farmer’s hybrid fertilizer range. Determine the frequency and amount of fertilizer application based on nutrient requirement of the crop. Fertilizers should not be applied during strong sunlight or rain. Store in a cool & dry place.
