Vegetable Fertilizer

 Follow the instructions carefully
 Apply in accordance with the fertilizer recommendation.
 Broadcast evenly over soil.
 Incorporate into soil gently.
 Do not let fertilizer fall on leaves or stem.
 For best results make sure soil is moist before fertilizer application
or water immediately after fertilizer application
 Do not apply fertilizer when there are diseases, too much sun and
heavy rain.

Precaution:
Adding farmers compost or bio compost to the soil can reduce the amount of chemical
fertilizers needed to be applied to the soil and increase the efficiency of fertilizer use.
Furthermore, avoid single bulky application of fertilizer, small applications at regular
intervals are more beneficial.

Description

Instructions for application:
 Apply fertilizer to well- prepared bed at the rate of 75 g per square meter, Sprinkle
evenly and mix into surface soil lightly with fork or mamoty. Water the soil and
allow it to settle for 2 or 3 days before planthing. After planting, apply fertilizer in
the form of top dressing at the rate of 50 g per square meter. Per-manured beds can
be treated to further top dressing 2-4 weeks after planting. Sprinkle evenly on
surface around the plant and apply water immediately. Repeat top dressing at 3-4
weeks as required.
 Apply15 g of fertilizer per planting hole for vegetables planted with lengthy space,
2-3 days before planting.
 Make sure to apply fertilizer to the root zone and avoid falling fertilizer on leaves.
